Who is Hunkettes, and how is it related to Home Service Hunks?
Hunkettes Cleaning Services is the home-cleaning division of Home Service Hunks, so it is the same reliable company you already know, just with a crew of its own. The cleaning is done by a dedicated, all-women team focused only on homes, not the same people who clean your windows and gutters. Everything that makes the Hunks trustworthy carries straight over: the same Horseshoe Valley business, the same $2 million insurance and WSIB, and the same standard on every visit.
What areas will you clean in?
All of Simcoe County and Muskoka, the same footprint as the rest of Home Service Hunks. Barrie, Orillia, Innisfil, Oro-Medonte, Midhurst, Springwater, Angus, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Midland, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and the townships between, with no rural travel fee anywhere in that area. We also take recurring and larger cleans in the Greater Toronto Area, quoted case by case because of the drive.
What is included in a standard clean?
A standard recurring clean covers the kitchen (counters, sinks, stovetop, exterior of appliances), all bathrooms (tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors), dusting of surfaces and fixtures, and floors vacuumed and washed throughout. Deep cleans and move-out cleans add the inside-the-oven, inside-the-fridge, baseboard, and detail work on top.
How often should I have my house cleaned?
Most households land on biweekly, which keeps things consistently tidy without over-cleaning. Busy families and pet owners often go weekly. Lighter households or people who tidy themselves between visits do well with monthly plus a deep clean a couple of times a year. When we launch, we will help you pick a rhythm that fits your home and budget.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes. Our cleaners arrive with everything needed. If you have specific products you want used in your home (for allergies, pets, or surfaces), just let us know and we will use yours instead.
How much will house cleaning cost?
Pricing depends on the size of your home, how often we come, and whether it is a standard, deep, or move-out clean, with recurring plans priced lower per visit than one-time cleans. Are you insured?
Yes. Like the rest of Home Service Hunks, the Hunkettes carry $2 million liability and WSIB coverage on every job, and our cleaners are vetted before they set foot in a home.
